This article lists the top 10 suburbs in Brisbane city that are doing well property sales wise, with some homes only being on the market 1 day before being sold.

The chap from Indooroopilly looked very pleased about his house selling so quickly, its amazing how things can turn around, it was not that long ago they were commenting on how the prices had / were falling in Brisbane...

Prices fell quite quickly around here about 18 months ago as we were looking into selling and dithered that much in the end it wasnt worth it,lol. They have risen a little this last 6 months but arent back to what they were 3 years ago just yet. The new builds however do seem to be going quite well and developing is busy around here but i saw sign advertising 4 bedroom homes for $279k which is darn cheap, so really with the first buyers grant it's an ideal time for newbies getting on the ladder i guess.
