Guest StephenJM
Fingers crossed we will be in QLD by early spring 15. Work wise I am pretty flexible even to the point where I would look at re-training in a skill that would increase the prospect of a decent job! I am 47 so 4 years at a college or Uni is probably not for me but something over a year, maybe 2 would be worth looking at. Any particular skill suggestions? I have a lot of diving/Chamber experience, catering and working with people.
Guest Keith & Linda
Hi StephenJM, can we assume then that you have some form of dive qualifications? if so then these I believe would be acceptable here in OZ, but a general open water cert would not by itself help get you work in this field. Regarding other training then try looking up Tafe courses on the internet it will give you some idea on vocation and training time lines, costs etc. Good luck Keith. Guest StephenJM
I have a UK HSE PT IV commercial diving ticket with about 5000 logged dives mostly scientific as I worked at a marine station. Too old for all that now at 47! working in a recompression chamber is more my pace!
Guest victoria89
Do you also take care of your skin? Look maybe it will help if we use organic cosmetics? Do you know that brand?
