Guest fluxsta
We orginally looked at Brisbane Holiday Village as it seemed to have all for the kids and was cheap. Like an Aussie Center Parcs! Now gonna be staying at Scarborough Holiday Village. Depeneds on budget? We needed soemwhere cheap so opted for these two places. Google is your friend! Some furnished places were either fully booked or out of our budget. I just typed 'brisbane short stay apartments' into Google and got a wealth of starting points. I would look at Brisbane holiday village though, looks good enough to me!

Guest cal
Hi The holiday villages are a good temporary starting point ,especially if your coming at the back end of the year as they tend to have all the ammenities such as a pool which is a god send in the hot weather. Ashmore Palms on the Gold Coast and Brisbane holiday Village have both been used by quite a few migrant familys i know and if you stay at least 4 weeks you will get a decent discount on an intrim cabin. If a cabin is too small, have a look at stayz.com as this has quite alot of furnished houses but be prepared to pay for your stay , furnished houses aren't cheap as utilitys etc are all included and your not tied into a lease. Hope this helps Cal x
Guest Clarabell
Hi Rudi, I have just started making rental enquiries and wondered if you would mind giving me a quote for 6wks rental starting at the end of march 2012. We are emigrating from the UK, and my husband and I have 2 young children, so the garden looks very tempting
