Guest srp Posted May 28, 2011 Share Posted May 28, 2011 Hi, I lived on Bribie island for 12 months, very nice place and Banksia Beach is nice spot, I do not think there is a bad part of Bribie island, There are schools but i do not have children so not sure about them, several beaches on Bribie island and at Woorim you will find cafe's and bars. The island also has a good size shopping center with all the shops you will need. As you leave the Island there is a fruit barn where you could get decent cheap fruit and veg. Bribie Island is around 30 min from Caboolture where there is a major shopping center and also a discount butcher in Caboolture plus the main line railway station. I hope this helps.
